Happy Friday y’all! Praise to God this morning. 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

As far back as I can remember I have had insomnia waking up at least 10xs a night EVERY NIGHT! I know a lot of it had to do with the day in and day out stress I was under from the physical, mental, and emtional abuse I was enduring. (I was also convinced I as going bald because of the handfuls of hair I lost every day until I was saved and moved away) I also know it was and still is because I am an extremely light sleeper, part of my hypervigilance I’m sure. To say the least I’m pretty drained most of the time even with all the crossfitting and healthy eating to promote energy.

Trust in the truth

There is a reason for every trial and tribulation you go through in life.  God is setting you up for his purpose and blessing you greatly within each and every thing you go through.

For years I was Mentally, physically and emotionally abused by my mother and her wife. It was heart wrenching, angering, and devastating. I contemplated suicide all the time. I wanted out. I was so hurt by what they were doing and my hurt turned into great anger that I carried around for YEARS. I would be lying if I said I didnt still carry some of that around with me still to this day. (Its something I am always working on) I was not raised a Christian nor was I permitted to go to church. I can probably count on one hand how many times I went to church until the age of 16. But I…
